SportsFunded ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Plain-English summary: We collect the information needed to run your account, verify eligibility, process payouts, and protect the platform from fraud. We don't sell your personal information. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: name, email address, date of birth, jurisdiction of residence, and a hashed password.
Identity verification data: when required by law or platform rules, government-issued ID, selfie match, and last four of Social Security Number (U.S.).
Platform activity: picks placed, evaluation progress, rule compliance, session times, IP address, device fingerprint.
Payment data: processed through our payment partners; we store only the last four digits and transaction IDs, not full card numbers.
Communications: support tickets, emails, and messages you send us.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
To verify eligibility, enforce evaluation rules, and prevent fraud or collusion.
To process entry fees and profit-split payouts.
To comply with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering, tax reporting, and responsible-play mandates.
To send transactional emails (account activity, payout confirmations) and, if you opt in, product updates.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run the Service:

Service providers (identity verification, payments, cloud hosting, analytics) under contracts that restrict use to our instructions.
Regulators and authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and users.
Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to comply with legal, tax, and anti-fraud obligations. You may request deletion of your account; some records (e.g. transaction history) must be retained for up to seven years.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
Opt out of marketing communications.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use industry-standard safeguards — including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and least-privilege access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

SportsFunded is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Policy and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-product notice.
